The Meet Maude by Fairfield Circuitry is an analogue delay pedal that imparts a dark and tape-like quality to your sound. It offers a rich and distinct character for shaping repeats beyond simple reproductions of the input. The pedal features tone and feedback controls that allow you to play on the threshold of feedback, molding it as a low thundering growl or screeching wail, or letting the echo slowly die out as the dynamic output filter gets darker with every repeat. Additionally, a random delay time modulation adds a true tape feel to the delay, resembling a reel-to-reel motor spinning not quite perfectly.
The Meet Maude also includes full CV capabilities, enabling control of delay time and/or feedback with any external source, such as an expression pedal. The pedal is designed to deliver dark, thick repeats and comes in a compact and rugged enclosure. Its input and output are standard ¼”, and it has the following technical specifications:
- Input Impedance: 1 MΩ
- Output Impedance: 1 kΩ
- Power Supply: 9 to 9.6 VDC
- Current Draw: 60 mA
- Delay Time: 50 to 500 ms
The Meet Maude is manufactured by Fairfield Circuitry in Hull, Québec.
