The Fender MTG Tube Distortion pedal is designed with a genuine NOS (New Old Stock) 6205 preamp tube, providing authentic tube-driven distortion. It features a 3-Band EQ, a Boost function with Gain and Level controls, and a Global Tight control for shaping the sound. The Boost can be footswitched to add extra volume or gain, and the pedal is powered by a standard 9VDC center- negative power connection. The chassis is made of lightweight, durable anodized aluminum, and the pedal includes LED-backlit knobs and a Fender Amp Jewel LED for a classic Fender look. The internal switch-mode power supply converts the incoming 9 volts to 55 volts and applies that higher voltage to the tube’s plate, similar to an amplifier. The pedal also comes with a California Proposition 65 warning for cancer and reproductive harm.
The MTG Tube Distortion pedal is an all-original Fender circuit, providing real tube-driven distortion in a compact pedal. It is designed to fit easily on any pedalboard and is constructed for stage-ready use.
