Tweed 55

The Foxgear Tweed 55 is a compact and powerful guitar amplifier with a multi- stage Class A FET preamp and Foxgear’s proprietary Class D power section, capable of delivering 55 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms with a maximum 2% THD. The preamp section is designed to mimic the behavior and harmonic content of tube preamps, particularly those found in classic American clean amps from the Fender Blackface Era. This results in an abundance of crystal clean tones with plenty of headroom, making it a perfect pedal platform amp. The Tweed 55 is known for its lightning-fast response and harmonically rich sound, providing an experience akin to playing through a tube amplifier. It is also noted for its compact size, measuring 120mm (4.7”) in length, 30mm (1.1”) in height, and 60mm (2.3”) in width, with a weight of 0.2kg (0.4lbs). The input impedance is greater than 100K Ohm, and the speaker output impedance is greater than 4/8/16 Ohm. The signal-to-noise ratio is less than 90db.
