The GIGS BOSON GB-1V by Free The Tone is an extremely versatile overdrive pedal designed for a wide gain range, suitable for various music genres including Blues, Jazz, and Rock. It features a newly developed and special input circuit called the HTS (Holistic Tonal Solution) Circuit, which prevents guitar signal degradation even when bypassed. The pedal also includes an input impedance switch (1MΩ/100kΩ) that works even when the effector is turned off, allowing for better control of sound. The GIGS BOSON delivers a much more dynamic range for the DC9V power supply than expected and has a very low S/N ratio.

The pedal's Tone Control not only adjusts sound quality but also brings out detailed nuances of picking. It is built with reliable, high-quality parts to ensure long life and stable sound. The HTS Circuit manages the interface of the effector from signal input to the output, solving problems associated with True-Bypass circuits and the combination of a general buffer circuit and an electronic switch.
