The Otto Filter by Line 6 is a versatile auto wah filter pedal designed to deliver a wide range of filter effects suitable for guitarists. The pedal features three distinct filter types: Band Pass, Low Pass, and Line 6 Twin Filter. The Band Pass filter cuts low and high frequencies, leaving only the frequencies in between, with the center frequency responding to the dynamics of the player's performance. The Line 6 Twin Filter consists of two band-pass filters moving in opposite directions, while the Low Pass filter allows low frequencies to pass while cutting high frequencies, with the cutoff frequency responding to the dynamics of the playing.
The Otto Filter also includes a Mode Switch to select whether the filter moves up or down the frequency spectrum, a Sensitivity knob to control how the filter responds to playing dynamics, a Range knob to determine the extent of the filter's movement across the frequency spectrum, and a Peak knob to adjust the filter's shape.
The pedal can be powered by a single 9-volt battery or a Line 6 DC-1G 9-volt DC power supply. The Otto Filter is designed to bring ultra-funky and experimental sounds to a guitarist's pedalboard, making it suitable for a wide range of musical styles and genres.
