The Micro-Tron IV features three filter types: low, high, and band pass, as well as low and high frequency sweep ranges. It also includes standard CV input to accept an expression pedal without modification and the ability to send envelope Control Voltage to other units such as the Phasor III and Bi- Phase pedals.
The pedal's controls include MODE (LP, BP, HP), RANGE (LO, HI), LEVEL, PEAK (or Q), GAIN, and ON/OFF Footswitch for engaging or disengaging the envelope filter effect. Additionally, it has an UP/DOWN Footswitch for selecting between "auto-wah" and "down swoop" sounds.
The durable, anodized aluminum housing has a small footprint and sturdy hardware, making it suitable for rigorous use. The Micro-Tron IV also offers Universal BypassTM, allowing users to select either analog buffered or relay- based True Bypass, and features a USB port for class-compliant USB-MIDI connectivity.
