Description

The MXR Blue Box Fuzz pedal is a unique combination of buzzing fuzz and octave effects, designed to create a completely distinctive sound. The pedal drops the guitar signal two octaves down and combines it with gnarly fuzz for huge subterranean tones. It features a mix of a buzzing sub-octave effect and gated fuzz effect that share a single blend knob, allowing users to dial in and isolate either effect or create a mix between the two for a more flexible and customizable sound.

Technical Specifications:
- Type: Fuzz / Octave
- Power Supply: 9 Volt DC Power Supply
- True Bypass/Buffer: Buffer
- Ins - Outs: 1 in / 1 out
- Expression Out: None
- Battery Connection: Yes

The MXR Blue Box Fuzz pedal can be powered by a 9-volt battery, a Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter, or the DC Brick™, Iso-Brick™, and Mini Iso-Brick™ power supplies (not included). It offers responsive Output and Blend controls, delivering aggressive fuzz tones to 8-bit buzzes. With its sub-octave voice that borders on a synth sound, the MXR Blue Box Fuzz pedal is capable of producing glitchy, synth-heavy sounds, making it suitable for a wide range of musical styles and genres.
