The Boiling Point™ Overdrive Boost by Rockbox Electronics is a versatile pedal designed to provide a wide range of settings for maximum versatility. It incorporates a 3-position diode selector, offering a variety of harmonic flavors. The pedal features a true-bypass circuit, ensuring that the signal passes directly from input to output when the pedal is switched off.

Key technical specifications and features include:
- Gain: Sets the overall volume and can be used to match volume or provide a boosted output when the pedal is engaged.
- Drive: Sets the amount of distortion or boost in clean boost mode.
- Tone: Allows users to adjust the amount of treble boost in the signal.
- Bass Boost: Offers a switch for boosted bass in the up position and a normal setting in the down position, particularly useful for single-coil pickups.
- Drive/Boost Select: Provides three drive selections with different output volumes, including asymmetrical clipping (darker, 'Plexi' type sound), clean boost, and symmetrical clipping (more open, tube-like sound).
- Power: The pedal can be powered using a standard 2.1 x 5.5mm Center Negative Polarity 9V adapter, such as a Boss adapter. It can also be powered by a Center Negative 18V supply for a more open sound. Using an A/C adapter bypasses the internal 9V battery.

Additionally, the pedal is warrantied against manufacturers defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase. It is important to note that supplying improper voltage or polarity can damage the unit and void the warranty.

The Boiling Point™ Overdrive Boost is designed to provide a Marshall-like response in Plexi mode, organic tube-like distortion with greater output in Symmetrical Overdrive mode, and a clean boost with ample gain.
