Reaction Super Booster

The Reaction Super Booster by Rocktron is a versatile pedal designed to provide up to 20dB of gain while enhancing the tonal response of a guitar and amplifier. It features a singular FET ultra-high impedance input stage, which is analogous to a tube stage, offering warmth and soft clipping when the boost is at its maximum level. The pedal is built into a rugged metal slim form factor chassis, ensuring durability while taking up minimal space on a pedal board. It is a TRUE BYPASS pedal, meaning that when turned off, it is out of the signal path.

The control knob, labeled BOOST, determines the amount of gain applied to the input source. Higher settings of the BOOST control can make solos and special effects stand out in the mix, while lower settings can add extra edge to chordal work and enhance articulation. The pedal is designed to sound great when placed before all other stomp boxes in the signal chain.

The Reaction Super Booster can be used as a solo boost by inserting it last in the pedal chain, requiring only a slight amount of gain. It can also be used to enhance the distortion of an amplifier. The footswitch on the pedal controls the On/Off status, indicated by an LED indicator. The pedal can be powered by a 9V Alkaline battery or Rocktron's DC OnTap Universal Power Supply adaptor.
