Description

The Twin MkIIIS by Shift Line is a tube guitar preamplifier with a built-in cabinet simulator based on Impulse Response Convolution technology. It is designed to recreate the authentic sound of the '65 Fender Twin combo amp in a compact and lightweight form factor. The preamplifier features a classic tube circuit from INPUT to SEND jacks, with high anode voltage from a specially designed transformer, avoiding the use of SMPS circuitry.

- Wide gain control for achieving clean, naturally compressed, or overdriven signals
- Booster-friendly design for integrating with additional overdrive effects
- Recording output for direct recording or sending to a mixer console
- Switchable speaker simulator on the recording output for flexibility in studio and live settings
- Phones output and aux input for home practice
- Series effects loop with optimized signal level for pedal use
- Tung-Sol 12ax7 tube installed for balanced and transparent sound
- Low-noise and low-microphonic tubes
- DC heater supply to minimize noise
- Comes with a 220-230V mains European socket power adapter

Controls:
- Master knob for output level control affecting OUT and PHONES outputs
- Treble, Middle, Bass knobs for classic three-band EQ
- Gain knob for input sensitivity control
- Bright switch for high frequencies boost
- Cab Sim switch for switching on/off the speaker simulator on the Rec output

Connections:
- IN: High-impedance input for connecting to guitars, analog and digital synthesizers with mono output
- OUT: 1/4" mono +20 dBu output for connecting to 'Return' or 'Power amp in' jack on an amplifier
- Send, Return: Series Fx-loop, with SEND also usable as an additional -20 dBu output
- Phones: 1/8" stereo output for headphones
- Aux: 1/8" stereo input for drum machine, MP3 player, or other signal sources
- Rec Out: Line-level mono output for recording

- 12V AC, 1000mA power adapter included for 220-230V mains European sockets
