The ARP-87 Multi-Function Delay by Walrus Audio is a compact, feature-rich delay pedal designed to offer a wide range of delay tones. It features four main algorithms: digital, analog, lo-fi, and slap back, providing versatility for various musical styles and applications. The digital algorithm delivers pristine, crystal clear repeats suitable for rhythmic riffs, while the analog setting adds warmth and dimension to chords and lines. The lo-fi algorithm offers adjustable frequency range on the repeats, creating warm, warped, and murky tones, and the slap setting is ideal for achieving a great slap back echo for guitar runs.

The pedal includes a smart bypass switching feature and a momentary knob ramp, offering endless creative opportunities for musicians. The X knob adjusts a specific parameter in each algorithm, controlling modulation depth in digital, analog, and slap modes, and filter width in lo-fi mode. The ARP-87 also allows for trails or no trails mode, with the option to toggle between the two by holding down the bypass switch for 1 second while applying power to the pedal.

Additionally, the pedal supports momentary functions, allowing users to temporarily activate the effect to add a moment of delay texture and to ramp the X parameter to maximum. The max delay time is 1000ms, and the pedal can be run in trails or no trails mode, giving users flexibility in tailoring their delay effects.

The diecast enclosure measures 4.77" x 2.6" x 1.39", and the power requirements are 9VDC (100mA minimum). It is recommended to use an isolated power supply for optimal performance.
