Description

The Monument Harmonic Tap Tremolo V2 by Walrus Audio is a versatile pedal designed to produce rich, luscious, warm pulsating modulation. It is capable of creating peaks and valleys as smooth or as jagged as those found in nature. The pedal's dimensions are 4.77 x 2.9 x 2.3 inches, and it requires a power supply of 9VDC, center negative, with a minimum of 100mA. The pedal features top-mounted jacks and an expanded capability of the side jack, which now supports external tempo or can function as expression control over Rate, Depth, Shape, or Tap Multiplier and is assignable on the fly.

The Monument Harmonic Tap Tremolo V2 offers various wave shapes controlled via the Shape knob, including Sine, Square, Ramp, Lumps, and Monument Mode (random). It also includes a special feature where the bypass switch has a momentary function, allowing temporary activation of the effect to add a moment of texture. Additionally, when the pedal is on, pressing and holding the bypass switch ramps up the tremolo rate, and releasing the switch ramps the rate down to the previously set tempo.

The Division knob can be set to quarter, triplet, eighth, and sixteenth, providing flexibility in creating unique waveforms. The pedal also offers a clean boost by setting the depth knob at 0 and the volume knob above unity.

The Monument Harmonic Tap Tremolo V2 is designed to inspire vintage tones inspired by Fender Brownface amps in Harmonic mode, where a low-pass and high- pass version of the guitar signal is modulated opposite of each other, resulting in a warm, "chewy" tremolo effect.

The pedal's smaller form factor and new features, such as assignable expression control and rate ramp up, make it a versatile tool for creating inspiring and unique tremolo effects.
