The Zoom 505II by Zoom is a guitar multi-effects pedal designed to provide a wide range of effects for guitarists. The 505II can be powered by either an AC adapter (ZOOM AD-0006) with a rated output of 9 volts DC, 300 mA and a center minus plug or four IEC R6 (size AA) batteries. When powered by batteries, the pedal offers approximately 28 hours of continuous operation with alkaline batteries. Additionally, it is compatible with an optional foot switch (FS01) or expression pedal (FP01/FP02) for enhanced control during performances.
The pedal's user interface has been redesigned to provide intuitive operation, with large switches and keys, and a rotary selector for swift and hassle-free effect selection. The 505II also allows for patch editing and storage, with the memory capable of holding up to 36 rewritable patches.
