The Underfacer

The Underfacer by Goodwood Audio is a versatile pedal designed for various applications. It is available in two versions: The Underfacer and The TX Underfacer. The TX Underfacer is specifically designed to fit under an angled pedal board, catering to the needs of gigging musicians.

- Master Mute: The pedal features a master mute pushbutton, allowing users to mute the signal before it reaches the amplifier, providing control over the signal flow.
- Summing: The TX Underfacer offers two types of summing: Stereo Sum and Split Sum. The default mode is Stereo Sum, where the left and right inputs are merged and the same signal is sent to the left and right outputs. In Split Sum mode, the right input is ignored, and the left input is split to both left and right outputs.
- RMT Compatibility: The pedal can be used with RMT (Remote Switch for TX Underfacer) to access the summing mode and master mute, providing additional flexibility and control.
- Ground Lift & Phase Correction: The TX Underfacer includes ground lift and phase correction features for players using multiple amps, allowing for the elimination of ground loops and correction of phase issues.
- Buffered Input: The pedal comes with a buffered input, ensuring a high impedance signal is sent to the pedals, preserving the tone. It also includes an always-on tuner out.
- Power Requirements: The pedal requires a 9vDC center-negative power supply with a minimum of 100mA current draw.

Dimensions of The TX Underfacer, including all jacks and push buttons, are 100mm long x 118mm wide x 34mm high. The input impedance for B. In, L, and R inputs is 1Meg, while the output impedance for B. Out, Tuner Out, L, and R outputs is 500 ohms.
