The Colour Boost by 65 Amps is a Germanium-based booster pedal that offers classic '60s and '70s guitar tones. It features premium Germanium transistors and amp parts, not pedal parts, which adds elements of tone, dynamics, and quality. The pedal includes a 4-way "Voice" knob that notches midrange frequencies and a "Gain" control that adjusts the output of the Germanium Transistor. Additionally, it has modern appointments like SoZo coupling caps, Allen Bradley carbon comps, and Vishay Dale metal films. The pedal is designed to deliver classic Germanium distortion when pushed and the elusive "Ticket to Ride" clean tone when the guitar volume is rolled back. It also includes an internal 9VDC battery (non-Alkaline battery preferred) and external 9VDC direct power options. The Colour Boost is designed to provide the classic '60s and '70s Germanium voice without the wildness and noise of older pedals.
