Pathos

The Pathos by Abasi is a distortion pedal designed to emulate the characteristics of an American-style tube amp channel. It features a range of controls including Volume, Gain, Bass, Middle, and Treble, allowing for precise adjustment of the output level, saturation, and tonal characteristics. The pedal also includes a voicing switch with Smooth and Edge modes, providing options for rounded, creamy tones suitable for lead work, as well as a crisp, aggressive sound ideal for rhythm tones. The pedal is designed to handle extended scale and down-tuned guitars, with the Bass control offering a broad frequency range for precise tightening of the low end. The mid control provides a wide range of tones, from modern metal to djent to fusion, while the treble control adds edge and presence at lower gain settings. The Pathos pedal is true bypass and features a soft-touch footswitch, and it can be powered by a 9V DC power supply. The pedal is also designed and crafted in the USA and comes with a three-year warranty.
