The AGRO by Aguilar is a bass overdrive pedal designed to provide a wide range of tonal flexibility for bass players. It is based on the popular AG 500 saturation channel, offering vintage tube-like warmth and full-on dirt, allowing users to add rich harmonic overdrive to their sound while maintaining the full, round tone of their instrument. The pedal features separate Saturation and Level controls to craft the perfect distortion, as well as a Contour control to shape the mids. The AGRO also includes a broad range mid scoop, treble, mid, bass, deep, and presence controls on the front panel, along with an engage switch to activate the saturation effect. Additionally, it offers a second ¼” input jack on the rear panel for convenience, two ¼” outputs (one line level and one selectable for either line level or instrument level), a footswitch for on/off control, a DC In Jack, power switch, and universal power supply. The AGRO comes with a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects and can be used in various setups, including in front of an amp, in an FX loop, or as a preamp straight into a power amp.
