The Crown of Horns by Black Arts Toneworks is a pedal that shares traits of the Pharaoh and LSTR. It is built on OpAmp muff circuitry with a hybrid Pharaoh/LSTR tone section. The pedal is not quite as middy as the Pharaoh, nor quite as scooped as the LSTR, sitting squarely in the middle of the two. The unique feature of the Crown of Horns is the Horns switch, which bypasses the tone stack altogether for a huge, flat boost of volume. This results in highly interactive capabilities with different amps and settings, providing a range from a huge volume boost to a slab of fat saturation. The pedal operates on a standard 9VDC power supply and does not have a battery connection.
