The Black Cat Mona Wah pedal is designed with a special custom-tuned Black Cat inductor and a newly engineered Black Cat wah pot, offering a revolutionary breakthrough in traditional wah-wah design. The wah pot features a new taper and redesigned gear, allowing for a smooth, even sweep covering the entire range of the pot. The pedal is equipped with three internal trimpots (Frequency, Q, and Volume) and a built-in buffer with an external mini-switch for bypassing the buffer completely. The Q and Frequency controls enable adjustments for resonant peak, sharpness, and frequency range, providing a range of tone-shaping effects. The pedal also features a durable powder-coat "Holographic Sparkle" finish, on-board tone-shaping controls, a 3PDT true- bypass switch, Switchcraft jacks, and can be powered using a 2.1mm Boss style power jack or an internal 9V battery. The Deluxe Edition of the Black Cat Mona Wah moves the internal controls to the outside, allowing on-the-fly adjustments, and includes a 3-position mini-switch for three separate and distinct voicings. The pedal is hand-wired, boutique quality, and made in the USA.
