The Carl Martin Compressor/Limiter pedal is designed to be a versatile and user-friendly guitar dynamics processor. It incorporates features for smooth, natural compression and offers sonic clarity and quietness comparable to the best studio compressor/limiters. The pedal is equipped with fixed Threshold and Response settings, leaving it with only two knobs, the Comp and Level, for ease of use.
The pedal has been developed to maintain the same sonic quality and headroom as the previous model, using a regular 9V DC 200mA external power supply. Additionally, it incorporates a specially developed DC/DC converter circuitry, enabling it to run with +-12V internally.
The Andy Timmons Signature Compressor/Limiter, developed in collaboration with Andy Timmons, offers two presets for Compression Rate and Level, allowing users to switch between subtle rhythm parts and hard compression for solos without taking up additional space on the pedalboard. It also features a ¼” jack for remote switching of presets (Latching).
The Carl Martin Compressor/Limiter and the Andy Timmons Signature Compressor/Limiter have received positive reviews for their transparent, subtle compression, quiet operation, and versatility, making them suitable for a wide range of musical styles and applications.
The Carl Martin Compressor/Limiter is priced at 179.00 € in the EU and $199.00 in the USA/Non-EU, while the Andy Timmons Signature Compressor/Limiter is priced at 249.00 € in the EU and $279.00 in the USA/Non-EU.
