The Diezel Herbert Pedal is an all-analog preamp pedal based on the legendary Herbert amp. It offers a foot-switchable Midcut circuit and a wide range of controls, including Normal Master, Midcut Master, Midcut Intensity, Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence, and Deep. The pedal can be powered between 12-18VDC and comes with a 12V power supply and an 18V power supply cable for use with 9V isolated power supplies. The power draw is 100mA.
This high-gain stomp replicates the preamp of the Herbert amp with precision, providing a wide-ranging EQ control and foot-switchable Midcut circuit, along with Presence and Deep controls for mimicking the amplifier’s power-section punch. It also includes a separate output for running directly into a power amplifier, allowing the pedal to be used as a rig’s front end. Additionally, it features a 1/4" stereo jack for remote control.
The pedal can be used as an overdrive effect or as a stand-alone preamp, and it includes a Bypass switch to mute the signal when used as a preamp. The pedal's dimensions are 6.5"L x 5"W x 2"T, and it weighs 1.5lbs.
