Poppy Dual Boost

The Poppy Dual Boost by Flower Pedals is a versatile pedal that operates on 9V but internally boosts that to 18V to ensure clean power. It essentially houses two boosts in a single enclosure. The pedal features two sides with slightly different controls and circuit topologies. The Red Poppy side is based on an opamp boost circuit and includes controls for Boost, Tone, and Bump. The Bump control boosts a specific range of frequencies, which can be adjusted using the Tone control. The White Poppy side utilizes JFET transistors and a baxandall tone circuit for a more tube amp-like tonal quality, with controls for Boost, Bass, and Treble. Both sides feature a boost control that allows for maximum clean headroom and can be run simultaneously for added versatility. The pedal also offers the flexibility to place the Red and White sides at different points in the signal chain and the ability to choose whether each side defaults to on or off at power up. The Poppy operates on 9V center negative, drawing less than 100 mA.
