OD2 Overdrive

The Guyatone OD2 Overdrive pedal is a compact effects pedal designed to provide versatile overdrive tones for guitarists. The pedal features a compact design with dimensions of 2.75" W x 3.875" L x 1.5" H and weighs 7.6 oz (without battery). The input impedance is 470K ohm, and it utilizes a 1/4 inch standard phone jack for input.

The OD2 Overdrive pedal is equipped with the JRC 9449G IC chip, which is the in-line equivalent to the legendary JRC 4558 IC, known for its warm, tube-like voice. The pedal offers a simple two-knob overdrive effect with a small pedalboard footprint. It features a Level knob for adjusting the output volume, a Tone knob for adjusting the output tone with emphasis on the high- frequency range (Hi-cut Hi-boost), and a Gain knob for adjusting the overdrive level.

Additionally, the OD2 Overdrive pedal includes a Mode switch with three settings:
- S (Shallow): Clean boost to crunch sound
- M (Middle): Vintage drive sound
- D (Deep): Classic tube saturation

The pedal is designed to provide a transparent, non-compressed overdrive that responds to picking dynamics and cleans up when the guitar volume is lowered. It aims to reproduce the original guitar signal accurately, offering a smooth, transparent overdrive with a bigger, thicker bottom compared to traditional overdrives.
