NTS Tube Screamer

The Ibanez NTS Tube Screamer is a compact guitar effects pedal that incorporates Nutube technology directly into its circuitry, representing a collaboration between Ibanez's Tube Screamer and KORG's Nutube. The pedal features controls for Drive, Tone, Level, and Mix, with dimensions of 71(W) x 124(D) x 53(H)(mm). It can be powered by a DC9-18V (Negative Center) power supply or one 006P 9V battery, with a current draw of 50mA@9V and 60mA@18V.

The Nutube technology, developed by KORG Inc. and Noritake Itron Corp., offers exceptional dynamics, improved sensitivity, and natural tube compression. The NTS Tube Screamer's overdriven sound is created by Nutube, mixed with the clean signal, and passed through a discrete circuit, providing natural compression and significant headroom.

A notable feature of the NTS Tube Screamer is the MIX knob, which controls the balance of the clean and overdriven signals. Additionally, the pedal allows up to an 18V power supply, offering increased headroom with higher volume. It is equipped with relay true bypass switching and is 100% analog.
