Saturn VI Harmonic Boost

The Saturn VI Harmonic Boost by Spaceman Effects is a dynamic pedal designed to function as both a harmonic-laden boost and a low-gain overdrive. It offers up to 35dB of gain, providing a complex harmonic character. The pedal features intuitive controls, including Boost and Drive, with Boost alone providing 18dB of harmonic gain and the Drive control adding more harmonic distortion while increasing the total output of the pedal. When both controls are maxed out, the pedal yields 35dB of boost, rich in complex harmonic character.

The Saturn VI is known for bringing openness to the top end of the frequency spectrum while maintaining tight and controlled bass frequencies. It includes a Tone circuit for customization of treble frequencies, allowing users to adjust for the perfect amount of sparkle. The harmonic distortion present in the Saturn VI is highly dynamic, responding to both light and heavy playing.

The drive texture within the Saturn VI comprises both odd and even harmonics, with the Boost side focused on subtle even-order harmonics and the Drive side increasing these while introducing odd-order harmonics. This pedal excels as a harmonic booster and can also function as an overdrive when using the Drive control. It is compatible with other pedals, offering new sonic dimensions when combined with boost, fuzz, and overdrive effects.

The Saturn VI is hand-wired and built in Portland, Oregon, featuring true- bypass relay switching with a soft-touch footswitch. The pedal is housed in a cast-aluminum enclosure with a durable, engraved vinyl faceplate and a red jewel indicator light, ensuring longevity.
