Description

The VCR by JHS Pedals is a collaborative effort with PaxAM and Ryan Adams, designed to deliver the sounds of Ryan Adams' most recent albums with a perfect 80s reverb and chorus vibe. The pedal features three one-knob controls for the effects: Volume, Chorus, and Reverb. Each effect is engaged by a toggle below the knob, and the master on/off is controlled by the footswitch. The Volume control provides a simple boost that can be used to increase volume or send the amp into breakup, making it suitable for low-wattage amplifiers. The Chorus effect offers a classic swirling 80s style chorus, with the speed increasing as the depth decreases when the control is turned up, and vice versa. The Reverb is a hall reverb that adds an 80s style decay to the sound, with the knob controlling the reverb mix from fully dry to fully wet.

The pedal also features individual bypass toggles for each effect, simple controls for easy sound dialing, and a master bypass footswitch to engage all effects at once. The VCR requires standard 9V DC Negative power, consumes 80mA, and measures 3.65"x4.65"x1.2". The pedal is designed to provide a versatile and high-quality 80s-style effects experience tailored to Ryan Adams' specifications.
