The Sonder by Wren and Cuff is a unique chorus/tremolo pedal that features independent fully analog channels for chorus and tremolo. The pedal allows for layering these channels together with endless combinations of chorus with tremolo. It offers an intelligent control set that activates a buffered bypass for either chorus or tremolo when the "Depth/Mix" controls are set to 0%, thus removing them completely from the signal chain. The Sonder also features true bypass when the Bypass footswitch is activated and a Tap Tempo function for the tremolo channel. When activated with taps, the Sonder ignores the "Rate" control and adjusts to the tempo of the input taps. When the Rate knob is moved, the pedal returns to manual control.
Specifications:
- LED indicator light
- Completely analog structure
- True Bypass
- Operation with 9V battery or 9V power supply with 2.1mm plug, center
negative (optional)
- Made in the USA
The chorus effect of the Sonder offers deep, rich modulation tones that interact seamlessly, while the tremolo provides a wide range of textures, from gentle undulating tones to extreme robotic insect and high-rpm helicopter zones. The pedal also allows switching between a smooth "sine" wave tremolo or the more choppy "square" wave setting.
The Sonder's design and control options, including Depth/Mix, Rate, Volume/Boost, and Tap-tempo, make it a versatile and expressive modulation pedal suitable for a wide range of musical styles and applications.
