The MOOER Acoustikar is an acoustic guitar simulator pedal designed to replicate the sound of an acoustic guitar. It offers three working modes: Piezo, Standard, and Jumbo. The pedal features a full metal shell, making it durable and suitable for extended use. The Acoustikar is compact, with dimensions of 93.5mm (D) × 42mm (W) × 52mm (H) and a weight of 160g, making it suitable for pedalboards with limited space.
The input and output connections consist of 1/4” monaural jacks with specific impedance levels. The input impedance is 1M Ohms, while the output impedance is 1k Ohms. The pedal operates on a 9V DC power supply, with a current draw of 17mA. Additionally, the Acoustikar features true bypass, ensuring that it does not affect the signal chain when disengaged.
The Piezo mode simulates the sound from a piezo pickup installed on an electric acoustic guitar, while the Standard mode replicates a normal acoustic guitar sound. The Jumbo mode offers another acoustic guitar sound option, providing versatility for different playing styles and preferences.
