The BOSS PH-1 Phaser is a 4-stage phaser pedal that covers a range of 16 sec. to 100 msec. It was released alongside the OD-1 and SP-1 as the first three Boss compact pedals. The phaser aims to emulate the swirling sounds of rotating speaker systems, such as the Hammond Leslie cabinets popular among organ players in the 70s. The PH-1 features controls for Rate and Depth, with Input, Output, and AC Adaptor connectors. It has a current draw of 7 mA (DC 9V) and weighs 400g. The input impedance is 220kOhm, and the output impedance is over 600Ohm. The signal-to-noise ratio is over 80dB. The PH-1 was sold from November 1977 to November 1981.
