The Timmy Overdrive is equipped with a footswitch to toggle the effect on/bypass, a VOLUME knob to adjust the overall volume of the effect, a BASS knob to cut low-end frequencies from the pre-overdrive signal, a CLIP switch to set the clipping mode, a GAIN knob to adjust overdrive intensity, and a TREBLE knob to cut high-end frequencies from the post-overdrive signal.

The pedal is powered by the Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter, or the DC Brick™, Iso-Brick™, and Mini Iso-Brick™ power supplies. It cannot be powered by a battery.
