The OKKO FX Coca Compressor MKII is a studio-quality compressor and clean boost pedal designed to enhance the instrument's tone without coloration. It is suitable for use with guitars, bass, piezo-equipped acoustic guitars, and other stringed instruments. The pedal features a unique circuit utilizing an optocoupler for smooth and natural compression, and it operates as an "upward" compressor, leaving the attack and strong notes unchanged while amplifying quieter notes and increasing sustain.
The pedal includes controls for compression (SING), passive tone adjustment (TONE), and volume/boost (PUSH). The passive tone control creates warmth and thickness or a bright and snappy tone, with a neutral setting in the middle. The pedal is exceptionally quiet, with no hiss, hum, or unwanted noise, and it features true bypass switching.
