SBP-2 Bass Preamp

The Sadowsky SBP-2 Bass Preamp is a compact and powerful preamp designed for bass guitars. It offers the same high-quality electronics found in Sadowsky basses and is ideal for use in the effects setup in front of the amplifier. The preamp features a boost-only EQ section for Bass and Treble, with Bass providing a +18 dB boost at 40 Hz and Treble offering a +18 dB boost at 4 kHz. The controls include Volume, Treble, and Bass, with the Treble and Bass functioning solely as a boost.

The SBP-2 Bass Preamp is designed for upgrading old vintage instruments without altering the original electronics. It is particularly effective with passive basses or circuits with active pickups, allowing for bypassing of the active electronics. Additionally, it is suitable for use with all upright bass pickups.
