The Stone Deaf PDF-2 is a versatile parametric overdrive pedal designed for use with guitars, basses, drums, synths, and more. It features a reduced noise floor, adjustable gain control, and dual footswitches for seamless channel switching. The pedal offers a highly sculptable parametric EQ with a frequency response ranging from 35Hz to 6kHz, allowing users to dial in a full tonal spectrum of their amplifier tone. The wide gain range of the PDF-2 enables users to achieve light overdrive to wild distortion, making it suitable for a variety of musical styles.

The PDF-2 can be powered by an optional 9V PP3 battery or a PSU (9V DC, center -, 2.1mm, ~30mA current draw). The expression input on the pedal is compatible with the Stone Deaf EP-1 active expression pedal, allowing for on-the-fly tone sculpting or foot-controlled phaser and wah sounds.

The pedal's rugged design makes it suitable for professional use on tour, and it has been used by renowned guitarists such as Josh Homme and Nick Valensi. The PDF-2 is proudly manufactured by Stone Deaf in their factory based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England.
