The Echobox Modulated Delay by Subdecay is a versatile pedal designed to capture sounds that straddle the line between analog and tape echoes. It offers 40 – 666 milliseconds of delay time, with modulation control over speed and depth. The pedal features a natural decay mode that allows the echo effect to naturally trail off after being bypassed, and it can be powered by a 9-volt battery or a regulated 9VDC to 12VDC adaptor with a negative center 2.1mm barrel style plug. The maximum delay time is around 800ms, with infinite repeats possible, and the scaling of the repeat knob can be altered via an internal trimpot. The Echobox is hand-made in Newberg, Oregon, and comes with a three-year limited warranty. The pedal's dimensions are 4.7″ x 3.7″ x 1.2″, and it features a die-cast metal enclosure for durability, 3PDT switches for true bypass switching, and a blue LED indicator. The input impedance is 1M, and the output impedance is less than 1K. The current draw is less than 100mA.
