Double Drive 3X

The Double Drive 3X by Tech 21 is a 3-channel, fully programmable distortion pedal with a 100% analog signal path and active 3-band EQ. It offers two different types of distortion based on the output stages of specific tube amplifiers: Class A (Vox AC30®-style) and Class A/B (Fender®-style/Marshall®-style). The pedal allows users to use either Drive control individually or together, creating a unique blend of the two distortions and achieving a cascading effect.

The interaction of the two Drives with the EQ controls yields a wide range of variations, from clean boost (up to 10dB) to intense fuzz. The pedal is designed to be used with any amp - tube or solid state, vintage or modern, and can also be used in conjunction with Tech 21's own SansAmp™ models of Tube Amplifier Emulators.
