Description

The V-Drive by VHT is an overdrive pedal designed to offer a wide range of tones and textures. It features the following technical specifications and unique controls:

- Model Name: VHT V-Drive Overdrive Pedal
- Model Number: AV-VD1
- Features: Unique Voltage Control, Ten Different Clipping Diode Configurations, True Bypass Switching
- Power: 9V DC (External power source required)
- Controls: Volume, Tone, Drive, Depth, Texture, Select, Voltage (Rear Panel)

The V-Drive's unique controls include:
1. Select: The 11-position Select switch provides ten different clipping diode configurations plus a clean-boost diode-bypass mode, replicating the diode type and configuration of classic overdrive pedals from the '80s and '90s as well as some modern boutique designs.
2. Texture: Adjusts the overdrive texture and harmonic content, providing a wide range of fine-tunable overdrive choices.
3. Depth: The 11-position Depth control fine-tunes the low-end response to perfectly voice the overdrive depth to suit a wide range of guitars, pickups, and musical styles.
4. Tone: Voiced higher than conventional overdrive pedals, it adjusts the treble content without altering the midrange, working in conjunction with the Depth control to provide a wider and more useful EQ-shaping range.
5. Voltage: The unique Voltage control uses a special voltage multiplying integrated circuit to increase the pedal's operating voltage for a tighter, punchier, crisper, quicker-responding, and more authoritative tone. It can also reduce the V-Drive's operating voltage to as low as 5 volts for a softer and spongier attack.

The V-Drive offers an unprecedented range of fine-tunable overdrive choices, making it a versatile and innovative overdrive pedal suitable for a wide range of musical applications.
