The Gearbox - Andy Wood Signature Overdrive by Wampler is a versatile dual- channel pedal designed to deliver a wide range of overdrive and distortion tones. It features dual independent drives based on two of Brian Wampler’s classic circuits – a tweaked Tumnus on Channel 1 and a modified Pinnacle on Channel 2. This combination makes Gearbox one of the most versatile dual pedals Wampler has ever created.

The pedal offers independent volume and gain controls for both channels, a tone control for Channel 1, and bass, middle, treble, and noise gate controls on Channel 2. It also includes a top-switchable stacking order control, dual inputs and outputs, and a unique noise gate. The order switch allows users to select which pedal comes first in the signal chain.

The Gearbox pedal is built in the U.S.A. with high-grade components chosen for their superior sound and response. It operates on a 9V power supply (DC only, with a maximum power draw of 52mA at 9V) and includes a battery. The pedal's dimensions are 4.5” x 4.5” x 1.5″ (114.3mm x 114.3mm x 38.1mm), excluding knobs and switches.

This pedal is suitable for a wide range of playing styles and can be used as a standalone overdrive, a slightly dirty boost, or for creating soaring lead tones and defined distortion.
