Tall & Fat

The Lounsberry Pedals Tall & Fat (TFP-1) is a three-stage FET preamp designed as a premier accessory for clonewheel organs. It provides compression, second- order harmonics, and dynamic drive characteristics of the tube-based AO-28 preamp. The pedal gradually introduces overdrive, which can be controlled with the swell pedal, adding compression and 2nd order harmonics. It is tuned to handle a wide frequency range and is suitable for use with digital organs, keyboards, bass, and guitar. The pedal is a true bypass and includes a 9V battery.

The Tall & Fat Wide (TFW-2) is a stereo pedal that allows full stereo throughput to a stereo recording or playback system. It is designed to be used as an "always on" preamp, providing a '60s clean sound, and is widely accepted as the overdrive of choice for many organists. The pedal features a "Fat" knob for drive control and a "Tall" knob for level control. It also includes a Stereo A10 circuit for additional versatility, providing clean FET preamp outputs that can be used separately or in conjunction with the main outputs. The pedal is a true bypass and includes a 9V battery.

Both pedals are analog discrete circuits with no ICs or surface mount parts and are suitable for use with organ, keyboards, bass, and guitar.
