The Noise Box by Subdecay is an envelope following harmonic frequency generator designed for creating chaotic octave-generated artifacts and random frequencies. The pedal is inspired by additive synthesizers and is hand-made in Oregon. The technical specifications include an input impedance of 100K, output impedance of 100K, and a current draw of less than 10mA. The pedal can be powered by a 9-volt battery or a regulated 9VDC adapter with a negative center, and it features a 2.1mm barrel style plug. The Noise Box is housed in a durable die-cast metal enclosure and utilizes 3PDT switches for true bypass switching. It also includes a built-in internal noise gate that turns off the frequency generator when not in use. The pedal measures 4.4" in length, 2.3" in width, and 1.0" in height. Additionally, it comes with a three-year limited warranty and a blue LED indicator. The Voice control allows for alternating between two different voicings of the frequency generator, with varied levels of high-frequency roll-off.
