Flashback Delay

The TC Electronic Flashback Delay is a TonePrint-enabled delay pedal with 11 classic delay types, audio tapping, and a 40-second looper. It is built on the legacy of TC Electronic's legendary 2290 Delay, offering a modern twist with a selection of the best delay sounds. The pedal features 11 delay types, including 2290, Analog, Tape, Lo-Fi, Dynamic, Modulation, Ping-pong, Slap, Reverse, Looper, and TonePrint settings.

The Flashback Delay allows for audio tapping, enabling users to set delay times quickly and accurately on the fly. It also features a built-in 40-second looper for recording and playing back grooves and lines. The delay types range from crisp and clean delays to mellow and warbling sounds, catering to a wide variety of musical styles and preferences.

The pedal supports TonePrints, allowing users to access signature sounds created by renowned guitar players or create their own custom sounds using the TonePrint Editor. The TonePrint app enables users to beam new TonePrints directly into the pedal from a smartphone.

In terms of connectivity, the Flashback Delay features standard 1/4" audio inputs and outputs, as well as a Mini-B USB port for connecting to a computer to load TonePrints or perform firmware updates.

The pedal also includes true bypass functionality, ensuring that when the effect is bypassed, it has zero influence on the tone, resulting in optimum clarity and zero loss of high-end. Additionally, the analog dry-through feature allows the original, unprocessed signal to pass through without conversion to digital, preserving the original tone.
