The Le Lead by Two Notes is a dual-channel tube preamp pedal designed to deliver high-gain lead tones. It features two independent preamps that are footswitchable and can be blended together. The preamp operates internally at 200 volts to preserve the interaction between the player and the guitar while working with other effect pedals. Each channel has its own voicing and EQ section, with Channel A offering a lower gain tube stage and pre-gain EQ, while Channel B provides more gain and a powerful post-EQ with mid sweep. The exclusive Fusion modes, "Hot Fusion" and "Cold Fusion," offer cascading and parallel blending of the channels, respectively. The preamp also features 2 channel footswitches, A and B, with the ability to activate Fusion mode by simultaneously pressing both switches. Additionally, it can respond to MIDI commands for seamless integration into pedalboard switching systems.
The Le Lead includes various inputs and outputs such as instrument input, thru output, FX loop send output, MIDI input, power adapter connector, headphones output, ground lift, balanced DI output, MIDI output, FX loop return input, and instrument output. It also incorporates a speaker simulation specifically voiced for the Le Lead model, based on the Torpedo simulator. The preamp can be connected to a mixing desk, power amplifier, speaker simulator, or digital audio interface for recording purposes.
The product manual provides detailed information on the functionality, connections, and tips for using the Le Lead in various setups, including using multiple Le Lead preamps together and integrating with other effects pedals and MIDI devices.
