The Torpedo C.A.B. M by Two Notes is a speaker cabinet simulator pedal designed to provide a comprehensive solution for guitarists and bassists. It offers a range of features and functionalities:
1. Technology: The Torpedo C.A.B. M utilizes a unique technology based on an adaptation of convolution techniques to accurately reproduce the system as it was measured, including the microphone's position in space by using IR synthesis.
2. Virtual Cabinets and Microphones: It comes with a library of 32 cabinets and 8 microphones, allowing users to choose one cabinet and two microphones, and fine-tune the position of each microphone in front of the cabinet. Additionally, users can upgrade and add more cabinets through the Two Notes Store.
3. Tube Stage Output: The pedal offers an original tube-stage modeling that provides a choice of 4 different tube models (6L6, EL34, EL84, and KT88) in Push-Pull (PP) in AB class, or Single Ended (SE) in A class configurations.
4. EQ Section: The Torpedo C.A.B. M features a simple but efficient EQ filter with three modes: GUITAR, BASS, or CUSTOM.
5. Reverb: It includes a reverb feature that allows users to choose the recording environment sound.
6. Impulse Responses (IRs): The pedal is capable of embedding third-party impulse responses in WAV or AIFF formats, and users can also create their own IRs using the free Torpedo BlendIR software.
7. Connectivity: The pedal offers various connectivity options, including Amp/Instrument/Line input, Speaker Output, USB for Remote application, Headphones output, Auxiliary input, Ground lift switch, Balanced XLR DI output, and Balanced TRS jack output.
8. Remote Control: Users can control the Torpedo C.A.B. M from a computer (PC or Mac) using the Torpedo Remote software via USB, allowing them to create, save, and load presets, as well as load new cabinets or IR files.
9. Use Cases: The pedal can be used on a pedalboard, after a preamp, among usual stompboxes, or between the amp and the speaker cabinet as an amp DI. It can also be used as a super-DI for keyboards.
10. Safety Instructions: The product comes with detailed safety instructions, including information about power adapter, safety use conditions, cleaning, maintenance, and disposal of waste equipment.
M is not a load box, and when connecting the speaker output of an amplifier into the amp input of the pedal, a speaker cabinet must always be connected to the THRU output. The amplifier output impedance must always match the speaker cabinet impedance.
