The pedal is not a load box and must not be connected to the speaker output of an amplifier. It should be placed at the end of the signal chain, after pedals and/or preamp. The LED indicator displays the current status, with white indicating normal operation, blue indicating the noise gate is closed, and red indicating input clipping.
